This 36-bed community garden in the West Adams area of LA started out as the unofficial Raymond Avenue Park. The park was nurtured by community residents for years until the property owner defaulted on their taxes and the property was put up for auction. In 2013 the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust, with the help of Ms. Erika Glazer, was able to purchase the property and give it back to the community.
